Rotary Clubs host exchanges for students 18-19 in more than 100 countries.There are two different types of exchanges in our Rotary District 5100. Long-term exchanges last a full academic year. Students live with more than one family in the host country and attend school there. Short-term exchanges last from several weeks to three months. They are often structured as youth camps, tours, or homestays that take place when school is not in session. Exchanges vary widely among districts.

We expect and encourage our members to participate in the "Five Avenues of Service". Rotary strives to achieve its objective of "Service Above Self" through activities in these five primary areas: Club Service, Community Service, Vocational Service, International Service and Youth Service.

Vocational Service is one of Rotary's Avenues of Service. Vocational Service calls every Rotarian to: aspire to high ethical standards in their occupation; recognize the worthiness of all useful occupations, and; contribute their vocational talents to the problems and needs of society. In the Vocational photos businesses our club has toured in the community will be highlighted.

We strive to bring interesting programs to our meetings by bringing in business people from the community to discuss conditions in our city, county, schools, etc; as well as the activities and service projects our club is involved with. We want to present effective speakers to our group in order to retain our membership and bring in new members.
